Why does it matter? The GT is not only seductively shaped, the doors are hinged in the middle. When opened, the leading third of the door disappears into the engine compartment. On that note, the GT uses a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine. It fires 145 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque through a paddle-shifted gearbox to the rear wheels.

When will Canada get it? Sadly, this beauty is unlikely to grace Canadian roads any time soon. Mind you, it would work wonderfully as a sister car to the Corvette.

Should you buy it? What’s not to love about a lightweight, turbocharged, rear-driver that promises to be as sensual in its drive as it is to the eye!
